At the first Pep Rally of the year, student council revealed that the Homecoming theme is “The Mirrorball.” Senior class president Logan Whisenhunt said this year’s Homecoming dance will be “the best its ever been.”
The dance is Saturday, Sept. 23, with the Performing Arts Center doors opening at 8 p.m. According to Whisenhunt, the main colors for the theme are darker colors with reflective colors, like gray, silver, black and lavender.
The main dance floor is in the Allen High School cafeteria, but the Lower Eagle’s Nest will have snacks and refreshments. The Library and P.E. gym will be available for students who want a quieter hang out zone.
Ticket sales open today, with initial prices starting at $35. After the first week of sales prices raise to $45 and finally raise to $60 the day of Homecoming. As the date approaches, the student council Instagram will update any additional information, @theahs_stuco.
