On Friday, Oct. 11, 2024, the Allen Eagles shared a field with the Princeton Panthers for the first time in about 50 years.
Starting the first quarter, the Eagles’ running back Lyndon Spriggs scored a 70-yard touchdown, making the score 7-0. Quarterback Brady Bricker then made a pass to wide receiver Donnelle Gee, scoring a 79-yard touchdown. The score became 13-0.
In the last minute of the first quarter, the Eagles scored another touchdown, increasing their score to 20-0.
In the beginning of the second quarter, the Panthers scored a 70-yard touchdown, making the score 7-20.
Then, Allen’s wide receiver Donnell Gee scored a 40-yard touchdown, making their score 27-7. Allen intercepted a pass by Princeton and had the ball on Princeton’s 38-yard line.
Allen’s wide receiver Brett Holloway scored a touchdown, bringing the score to 34-7.
In the final 2 minutes, the Eagles’ Mark Spriggs scored an 8-yard touchdown, changing the score to 41-7.
Closing out the second quarter, the Eagles’ Bricker scored a 30-yard touchdown, making the score 48-7.
Allen’s Gee scored a touchdown in the third quarter, increasing the score to 55-7. Then, running back Jaden Hambrick scored a touchdown, changing the score to 61-7.
Dakota Lee scored a touchdown for the Panthers, bringing their score to 61-14.
Ending the third quarter, the Eagles’ Holloway scored a 13-yard touchdown, scoring 68-14.
Kicking off the fourth quarter, the Panthers scored a touchdown, bringing up their score to 68-21. Allen then scored a touchdown, making the score 75-21. Allen made a field goal, increasing their score to 78-21.
The Allen Eagles ended the night as winners once again, with a final score of 78-21.
