Walking through the hallway now you see almost every person with a lanyard. Most of them wearing the free one given to students at Know the Ropes. I have seen hundreds of different types of lanyards from the classic Vera Bradley patterns to every single sports team in America.

You can learn a lot about a person by what kind of lanyard they wear. However, I have seen people make them into a fashion statement. For example, girls with lace lanyards along with someone rocking a pearl lanyard to show off their badge. As well as every popular franchise like Dr. Who or Star Wars. Then there are the sports lanyards. I have seen so many different teams like the Dallas Cowboys or Texas A&M. You name the team and someone is showing spirit with a lanyard.
