Allen Volleyball Off to Hot Start
Led by head coach Kelley Gregoriew, the Allen Eagle Varsity volleyball team has gotten off to a hot start, by going 4-1 so far in district games, and winning two tournaments as well.
“After a strong start, it is important that we continue to work hard because we have a good shot at going far this season,” sophomore Emily Walsh said.
After going 31-14 last year, “first in district and a run at state” are in the eyes of the 2015-2016 team, said both Alina Lam and Emily Walsh.
“We just take it one game at a time and learn from every match,” said sophomore Alina Lam.
Allen is coming off of a well-fought loss against a tough Hebron team Friday night, and will look to bounce back against upcoming opponents Flower Mound, Plano West and Plano East.
