May Concerts You Should Attend
Spring is more than just showers and flowers. It holds an array of great movies, great television and most of all, great music. Here are several spring concerts happening around the Dallas/Fort Worth-area that are worth checking out.
- On May 6, Quavo, Takeoff and Offset, better known as Migos will be visiting Dallas at South Side Music Hall. The excitement starts at 8 p.m. that Friday night and is all ages.
- Beyoncé is returning to her home state on May 9 to perform at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. If Beyoncé alone isn’t exciting enough, DJ Khaled will be Queen Bey’s opening act. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and is bound to be unforgettable. If you’ve already bought a ticket go ahead and buy “another one” for a friend.
- Hall and Oates aren’t the only duo visiting. Disclosure, an electronic duo, is also appearing in Dallas on May 12. Disclosure will be filling Bomb Factory with sound at 9 p.m. This concert is a perfect opportunity to grab some friends and coax them into dancing.
- When nine hip-hop artists band together for a concert, it’s bound to be the talk of Allen High School. JMBLYA is a quintessential summer concert and it’s all happening on May 13 at the Fair Park Coliseum. This all-ages concert starts at 3 p.m. and will feature Future, Rae Sremmurd, Carnage, Kevin Gates, Kehlani, Keith Ape, Jazz Cartier, Noodles and Post Malone.
- If JMBLYA isn’t your style, Hall and Oates are performing at Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas on the same day. The legendary ‘80s duo will begin their performance at 7 p.m. Attend the fun concert and enjoy hearing some popular guilty pleasures. Buy tickets here.
- Rihanna will be lighting up the American Airlines Center in Dallas on May 13. Travis Scott will open for the popular singer and songwriter. The concert is a must-go for hip-hop fans in Allen and it starts at 7:30 p.m.
- Last but not least, three country stars are coming to Gexa Energy Pavilion on May 21. Jason Aldean will be performing alongside Thomas Rhett and A Thousand Horses at 7:30 p.m. So grab your cowboy boots and two-step your way to Gexa.
