Humans of Allen: Lina Jalver
“I came from playing soccer in -15 degrees to competing in 85-90 degree weather”
“There are definitely a lot of differences I’ve had to adapt to since I moved here. I came from playing soccer in -15 degrees to competing in 85-90 degree weather. I came from a school the size of the PAC which only held nine to 12 classrooms, to Allen, arguably the largest populated high school in the metroplex. Back in Sweden, school lunches consisted of healthier options such as fresh fish and vegetables, but here it seems almost everyone is indulging in personal pizzas and XXL chocolate chip cookies.”
