Humans of Allen: Stephanie Scarano
“It all started in fifth grade.”

“It all started in fifth grade when my music teacher told me I was bad at music. She told me I couldn’t play recorder, couldn’t sing, and then in sixth grade she had the nerve to tell me to audition as her lead role. I was like, ‘Nah! Not today, not ever!’ My mom was like, ‘No you should do it. You need confidence, you need a life Stephanie.’ So in seventh grade I auditioned for Alice in Wonderland and I played the March Hare and it was great.”
