“The most recent happiest moment that I can think of would probably have to be the day that I came home to find my older brother lying in my bed with a puppy that my mom said I couldn’t have. [The puppy’s] become, I don’t want to say a therapy animal, but the kind of comfort that comes with having a pet is amazing, so the day that I got him was probably one of my best days. He was really, really young so I kind of had to mom him, and it made me grow up a little bit. I helped him grow up, but he also helped me grow up.”
