The Holiday Spectacular is coming to town
Allen High School’s Holiday Spectacular, an annual winter show, will be held at 7 p.m., Dec. 14 and 15. The performance will be at the Allen ISD Performing Arts Center.
“There’s going to be singing and dancing from Encore,” senior choir president Anna Dreher said. “The Tallenettes will be dancing, and so will the Color Guard. It’s so fun because it puts everyone in the Christmas spirit.”
The Tallenette and hip hop choreographer Sydney Smith said she is looking forward to the show and doing everything she can for the event. The Holiday Spectacular features a variety of performances from the Tallenettes, Color Guard and Encore every year at Allen.
“We all just showcase our talent whether it’s singing or dancing, and it gets everyone in the mood for the holidays,” senior Tallenette and hip-hop choreographer Sydney Smith said. “I’m looking forward to it.”
The Performing Arts Center Doors will open at 7 p.m.. General admission is $10 and may be purchased on the Allen High School website or at the door.
“This will be my second [Holiday Spectacular],” Dreher said. “I am so excited. The Holiday Spectacular is so much fun, and it puts everyone in the Christmas spirit.”
Senior Natalie McMahon likes abstract art, rainy weather and flowers. She plans to become a geriatric nurse.
