It was announced on May 12th that Allen High School’s principal Jason Johnson will be the new Superintendent of Human Resources and David Hicks will be the Chief Information Officer. 

Dr. Johnson has been the principal of Allen High school since 2016, leading a staff of 400 faculty members and 5000 students. Hicks has been the Director of Communication since 2017. 

Johnson will replace Sheila Smith who has taken a position with Lewisville ISD. Hicks will replace Tim Caroll who is retiring after 25 years of service to AISD. 

Allen High School has started to look for a new principal immediately with no new prospects announced yet.
